Horasis Global Meeting, one of the most important annual meetings of world leaders, was held for the first time in Gaziantep, Turkey, in cooperation with Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, Southeastern Anatolia Exporters’ Associations, Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce and Gaziantep Chamber of Industry.

TİM Deputy Chairman and GAİB Coordinator Chairman Fikret Kileci, who played an important role in the meeting in bringing together business people attending the meeting from abroad with exporters from Gaziantep; He took part as a speaker in the session titled “World Economic Outlook”, one of the most notable sessions of the organization. In his speeches, Kileci said, “The truth has changed in the world. The way we do business, the economic outlook, everything has changed. Our city is a city with a historical past that brings people from different cultures together at the same table. In this city, we now need to produce with new truths and new ways of doing business, considering the future, green transformation and the next generation. While doing this, we need to target value-added production. Producing the cheapest product should no longer be our sole goal. By producing the cheapest product, we will no longer strengthen our place in the economy. Now we need to produce the right product for the right market and market it at the right price. “I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the realization of such a powerful event in our city.” He included his words.
The meeting, in which it will be emphasized that Gaziantep is one of the largest economic centers of Turkey that can host Horasis due to being a center of innovation, logistics, tourism and culture, and will make a significant contribution to the social development of the city, will continue with various sessions for 2 days.
